Meeting Matters International Pte Ltd is the conference management company for ThinFilms2018.

Online registration opens from 31 March 2018

IMPORTANT NOTES TO ALL AUTHORS/PRESENTERS

  1. All authors (including Invited Speakers) who are presenting at the conference will have to complete the registration and payment by 31 May 2018 (Early Bird Registration Deadline).
  2. Late payment may result in the accepted Abstract/Presentation not being included in the conference program and any publications printed for distribution at the conference.
  3. Each paid registration will be allocated only ONE Presentation (Oral or Poster).
  4. If you are unable to complete the payment by 31 May 2018, please e-mail your Symposium Chair to confirm your attendance so that we will keep your Abstract/Presentation in the program (This is subject to symposium chair’s approval). Please note that your registration fee will follow the Standard Rates or Late/Onsite Rates, depending on the date of payment.

1.0 How to Register, Pay, View and Download Invoice and Receipt

1.1 Create a new registration by providing your email, first and last name.
Click here: URL to be provided

1.2 Press “Continue” to access and fill up the registration form.

1.3 A Registration ID and Verification Code will be assigned once the form is completed. Invoice and payment instructions can be viewed online.

1.4 You can pay fees immediately (recommended) or later. However, do note that current/higher fee rates will apply (if paid after 31 May 2018).

1.5 A receipt can only be issued after payment is cleared.
To view/print a copy, click on “Meeting Registration”, and in the “Fees & Payment Section” click “Invoice &/or Receipt”.

1.6 Online registration and payment portal will open until 10 July 2018. After 10 July 2018, registration and payment can only be done onsite (not applicable to authors/presenters who must complete registration and fee payment by 31 May 2018)

1.7 Admission to conference is on condition that any fees owing to the conference (including fees for late registration) must be paid onsite at the registration desk.

*After 10 July 2018, online registration will no longer be available. You will need to register onsite with CASH payment in SGD or CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi).

3.0 Each Paid Registration Fee Covers

3.1 Full Registration
• ONE Paper Presentation (Oral or Poster) at ThinFilms2018
• ONE Paper Submission to Special Issue
• Conference Program Book
• Daily Coffee/Tea Breaks, and Lunch Buffet
• ONE conference banquet ticket

3.2 Student Registration
• ONE Paper Presentation (Oral or Poster) at ThinFilms2018
• ONE Paper Submission to Special Issue
• Conference Program Book
• Daily Coffee/Tea Breaks, and Lunch Buffet

4.0 Proof of Student Status during Registration

4.1 A valid proof of student status is required for registration under student rate.
Please upload a softcopy of the proof of student status. This can be in the form of a letter issued by the school or a scanned matriculation card.

4.2 The proof of student status shall contain at least the following:
• Student Name
• Student matriculation number (student ID with photo)
• Expiration date or Expected Graduation Date (must be later than 20 July 2018)
• University Name

5.0 Registration Withdrawal/Cancellation Policy & Refund Policy

5.1 There will be no refund for withdrawal/cancellation notice received after 17 June 2018.

5.2 For notice received by 17 June 2018, an administration fee of SGD120 will be deducted.

6.0 Payment Options

6.1 By Credit Card – China UnionPay (中国银联) / VISA / MasterCard / AMEX Only
10 Jul 2018 will be the last day for processing payment by credit card.
After this date, please register and pay onsite at the conference
Note: Not applicable to Presenting Authors who must register and pay by 31 May 2018

6.2 By Demand Draft/Cashier’s Order/Telegraphic Transfer
17 Jun 2018 will be the last day for processing payment by this method.
Note: Not applicable to Presenting Authors who must register and pay by 31 May 2018.

An additional SGD80 administrative fee will be charged for this payment method.
Please add SGD80 on top of your registration rate.
